About ROLDA
ROLDA is an international animal welfare organisation working to rescue, rehabilitate, and protect vulnerable animals in Romania and Ukraine. Our work focuses on long-term solutions, ethical care, and sustainable change for animals in crisis.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Sharing: Develop related ROLDA content featuring your role as Ambassador and use existing personal networks and relationships to share approved engaging posts, stories, and other social media content to inspire donations and raise awareness for ROLDA’s mission.
- Campaign Support: Work closely with the fundraising team to promote ROLDA’s online campaigns, events, and initiatives, creating buzz and engaging followers.
- Online Advocacy: Share ROLDA’s stories, updates, and needs across your social platforms to build a supportive community and educate followers on the impact of their contributions.
- Digital Fundraising Outreach: Use personal and ROLDA’s social networks to support peer-to-peer fundraising efforts, encouraging others to share and participate.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on personal social media engagement and online fundraising efforts..
- Conference Tabling and In-Person Events (Probable): Help support getting ROLDA’s message out in the community by attending conference or in person events in your community.
This is a flexible role suited to people who want to contribute their time or skills in a meaningful way, either a minimum term of 3 months or on an ongoing basis. Volunteer hours will generally be during standard working hours with the possible exception of events.
Skills Required
- Experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing (nonprofit experience is a plus).
- Strong written communication skills, with strong networks and the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and work with ROLDA to be creative in increasing engagement.
- Passionate about animal welfare and committed to ROLDA’s mission.
Time Commitment: Flexible hours, with a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week.
