Join ROLDA as a Grant Researcher and help us secure vital funding that drives our mission forward! This remote volunteer role offers you the opportunity to use your talents in writing and research to support animals in need.
Key Responsibilites:
- Identify Funding Opportunities: Research and identify potential trusts and foundations to approach for funding, with a focus on finding the best matches for ROLDA’s mission and needs.
- Craft Impactful Proposals: Write compelling, accurate grant applications of varying sizes to help generate a consistent income stream that fuels our projects and programs.
- Report & Showcase Impact: Work with our team to support timely data, stories and other materials for reports and impact summaries to showcase our work, fulfilling grant requirements.
As a Grant Researcher, your work is instrumental in ensuring ROLDA has the resources needed to save and improve animal lives. You’ll play a key role in building proposals with funders who believe in our mission, helping us grow our impact and reach.
Skills required:
- Proven experience in preparing successful grant applications for nonprofits.
- Knowledge of the grant funding landscape, particularly within animal welfare, and understanding of trusts and foundations' requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaborative and organisational skills to work with the ROLDA team .
