Are you experienced in social media, understand metrics and have a passion for engaging audiences and creating impactful social media content? ROLDA is looking for a Social Media Specialist to build and captivate our online community across various platforms. This remote role offers the opportunity to use your social media expertise to support animal welfare worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Administration: Develop and liaise with teams to manage approved content across various platforms like Patreon, TikTok, Reddit, Tumblr, and Pinterest, tailored to the unique interactions and interests of each.
  • Grow and Engage Our Audience: Support building a loyal follower base, ensure consistent engagement..
  • Monitor and Analyse Metrics: Track and review social media metrics to understand engagement trends and provide feedback to ensure the digital strategy aligns with ROLDA’s goals.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Social Media Manager to support the creation of visually engaging and compelling messages that attract new followers and connect with existing supporters.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills adaptable to different platforms, audiences, and media formats.
  • Strong understanding of social media metrics and how to analyse data to shape effective social strategies.
  • Storytelling ability with an awareness of key social media trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with experience in managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • A passion for animal welfare and creating positive change.
