Volunteer Recruitment and Coordination Volunteer

Role Purpose
Support the growth of Oot’s volunteer team by managing recruitment processes, volunteer platforms, and applicant coordination.
What You’ll Do
- Support end-to-end volunteer recruitment processes, from role posting through to interview coordination.
- Manage volunteer platforms (e.g., Seek Volunteer and LinkedIn), including posting roles and monitoring applications.
- Conduct initial screening of applicants and coordinate follow-ups where needed.
- Maintain a simple applicant tracking system and ensure timely communication with candidates.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with relevant team members.
- Support the continuous improvement of role descriptions, recruitment processes, and candidate experience.

What Volunteering with Oot Looks Like
- Most roles are 2–4 hours per week
- Work is flexible and remote (unless events are involved)
- You’ll have a clear role and reporting line
- You’ll use simple tools like ClickUp and Google Drive
