Do you have free time on a Wednesday, Friday or Sunday from 9:45am?

Do you want to make a difference and support some of our residents to be able to attend Mass or the faith group?

We are seeking warm and reliable volunteers to assist residents at our aged care home in Wembley to attend Mass within the facility in the mornings. Your support will help residents continue practicing their faith and feel connected.

The role would involve collecting the resident from their room and transporting them to the Mass Service within the facility, most of these residents have mobility issues. Once Mass is finished at 10:30am, you will transport the resident back to their room or common area. As a Volunteer, you will:

  • Collect residents from their rooms and transport them to the onsite Mass service
  • Support residents with mobility needs (such as a wheelchair)
  • Escort residents back to their room or common area after the service
  • Spend quality time and build meaningful relationships with residents.
  • Become a valuable member of our team with ongoing support throughout your volunteer journey.

If you would like to connect with your local community, we would love to hear from you!

If you have any questions, please call our Volunteer Lead on 0436 936 444.
