Brisbane Kite Festival - Event Project and Event Management

This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in a career in event management. The Brisbane Kite Festival is a large, free, family‑friendly community event held at Minnippi Parklands. It is a combined event organised by Rotary Brisbane South-East, Rotary Carindale, and the office of Councillor Lisa Attwood.

This opportunity is to work with the Rotary Club of Brisbane South-East.

It brings together families flying kites, community organisations, food trucks, and local services for a full day of activity and connection.

The event includes:

• A community barbecue and food trucks
• A kite stall and family kite‑flying activities
• Crowd management, parking coordination, and public safety support
• On‑site involvement from Queensland Police and other agencies
• Collaboration with Brisbane City Council and the local Brisbane City Councillor’s Office
