Advertised by Volunteer for KnoxEmotion21 is supported and promoted by Inclusion Foundation and delivers innovative dance, fitness and health programs for children and adults with Down syndrome.
Through performance based activities and community engagement, emotion21 aims to enhance lives for people with Down syndrome.
The benefits of the program are wide-ranging and include improvements in health, physical activity, social connection and self-esteem. These outcomes can also have a positive impact on students’ families, volunteers and the broader community.
As a volunteer, your role is to encourage, motivate, and engage participants during classes, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone can participate meaningfully.

Duties include:
- Create a welcoming and engaging environment for families and participants
- Encourage, inspire, and motivate participation
- Assist the teacher with set up and pack down of site and monitoring OH&S standards within the venue
- Adhere to and promote compliance with Inclusion Foundation policy and procedures, processes, and vision
- Assist as required in promoting emotion21
