The International Cake Show Australia is holding it's 10th show in Brisbane. Our show is run by a non for-profit organisation built on Volunteers. It is held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Brisbane. Wednesday and Thursday are Set up days. Friday, Saturday and Sunday is when the show is on and open to the public. Ideally, we would love volunteers to do as many days as possible. Please follow our Face Book page. International Cake Show Australia. The Cake show is a large, ticketed event that Cake and Cookie decorating enthusiasts can come to do workshops, buy from lots of retails stalls selling cake and cookie decorating supplies. We have cake and cookie celebrities come and do demonstrations. The public create Competition cakes that are displayed at the venue and judged. We need volunteers:

• To sell tickets
• Meet and Greet at the front entrance
• Help prepare and clean workshop areas.
• Lots of setting up and cleaning areas.

We desperately need volunteers on the Wednesday to unload our trucks and set up the whole show. There are jobs that require some lifting but also many jobs that are not physical, like dressing tables with table clothes, setting up a kitchen area, preparing, hanging banners etc. Sunday afternoon and night is the pack up. This goes well into the late night and struggle to have enough helpers for this. There is lots of cleaning and some physical work. Please ask your friends and family to come along with you. It is hard work but so much fun. You will make friends and will be so appreciated!! You do not need any cake and cookie decorating experience, but you will leave wanting to start!!
