The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Digital Growth & Fundraising Campaign Lead to drive meaningful visibility, engagement, and donations for a health-focused impact fundraising campaign hosted on GoFundMe.

This is not an entry-level role or content posting position. We are looking for someone who can strategically grow reach, convert attention into donations, and take ownership of the role with minimal supervision.

About the Role

You will take ownership of growing awareness and momentum for a live fundraising and movement campaign, with a focus on real engagement, measurable traction, and campaign outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing organic social media growth strategies
  • Increasing reach, engagement, and conversion to the GoFundMe page
  • Creating or guiding high-impact storytelling and campaign messaging
  • Identifying and activating relevant online communities and amplification channels
  • Improving donation conversion through content strategy and positioning
  • Supporting email newsletter creation and campaign communications for the website and supporter base
  • Repurposing content across social media, GoFundMe updates, and email newsletters to maximise engagement and donations
  • Identifying priorities and taking action without needing constant direction

This Role Requires Independence

We are seeking someone who can take full ownership of the function and operate autonomously.

The successful applicant will be able to:

  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Bring ideas, solutions, and momentum
  • Execute hands-on rather than wait for instructions
  • Deliver outcomes without creating extra management load
  • Run with the opportunity from day one

This role is best suited to someone experienced, proactive, and comfortable leading campaigns in a fast-moving environment.

This Role Is NOT Suitable For

  • Students or entry-level applicants
  • Anyone requiring regular supervision or step-by-step direction
  • Applicants seeking a passive or resume-building volunteer role
  • General social media users without campaign growth experience
  • People only able to schedule posts or assist with content
  • Anyone unable to work independently and deliver outcomes

We are seeking someone who can own the function, execute, and produce results.

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience in social media growth, digital campaigns, or fundraising campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to grow audience, engagement, or conversions
  • Strong understanding of what drives sharing, traction, and donations
  • Experience with cause-based marketing, startups, or high-growth digital environments
  • A strategic and execution-focused mindset

Formal qualifications are not required - results and capability matter most.
