Firefighter

The West Gidgegannup Bush Fire Brigade meets every Sunday morning for training and to build strong relationships with fellow members. As a volunteer, you’ll become a trained firefighter with access to accredited training courses.

Your training will include basic firefighting techniques, four‑wheel‑drive vehicle operation, safe use of firefighting equipment, and simple fire suppression tactics. You will also receive training in basic first aid, giving you the skills to provide initial medical assistance until further help arrives.
