Cafe Cook & Kitchen Hand

We are seeking a passionate and reliable volunteer to support the launch of our new café by helping prepare fresh, flavoursome food and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly each day. In this role, you will be actively involved in food preparation and cooking, contributing to a menu that reflects quality, care, and creativity. You’ll work in a fast‑paced environment and play a key role in maintaining efficient kitchen operations, particularly during busy service periods. You will also help supervise daily kitchen activities and support café staff, providing guidance where needed and ensuring safe and well‑organised workflows are followed. A friendly, calm, and positive attitude is essential, as you’ll help foster a welcoming culture for both staff and guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their cooking, and is happy to lead by example.
