Tuesday morning Child Buddy

Our child buddy would playfully and respectfully engage with the toddlers and babies while parents participate in groups. Your valuable role is to act in the capacity as child buddy in the presence of the group facilitators and parents in a group setting. This allows parents 'breathing space' to participate in sessions in an inclusive and non-judgemental space. Volunteers must not engage in discussions with participants or join in group conversations. The role of the child buddy is to engage with the children and infants who attend Peach Tree groups. The limitations set out are critical to maintaining the safety of group participants and ensure Peach Tree services are delivered in accordance with best-practice guidelines and organisation policies.
