Youth Mentor – Music Enrichment Program

About the role

Are you passionate about music and keen to inspire young people? We're seeking volunteers for our Music Enrichment Program at Y Schools QLD (Junior Moreton Bay – North Lakes). Help us create a space where music builds confidence, connection, and creativity!

Key responsibilities will include;

· Support students (grades 7-9) and staff during music sessions through small group work and informal lessons

· Assisting students in developing basic music skills

· Encouraging creativity and confidence through music

· Helping staff facilitate structured and informal music activities

· Providing guidance on technique and performance

· Experience with one/more of the following: singing, keyboard, drums, bass, electric, or acoustic guitar
