ECHO Community Services, based in Bayswater, WA, is seeking at least two board members. ECHO is a not-for-profit community aged care provider with a focus on high-quality in-home care. ECHO has an annual turnover of $8 million, which is predominantly derived from Home Care Package funding, which allows us to provide low-cost assistance with a focus on well-trained staff and the best possible care. ECHO is in a stable financial position with adequate reserves and a clear strategy to achieve a sustainable future. ECHO is investing time and money into new approaches and technologies, as a result of which ECHO hopes to make incremental contributions to a better standard of aged care. Your commitment will be seven board meetings per annum and four committee meetings per annum, amounting to 10-15 hours per month.
