We would love to have you join the Coastrek community as a volunteer! Help us make this an incredible day for trekkers all while raising much needed awareness for mental health.
Coastrek is Australia’s premier charity hiking challenge, proudly supporting Beyond Blue. Each year, more than 10,000 trekkers lace up their boots to tackle breathtaking coastal trails, choosing distances of 50km, 30km, or 20km. From Sydney to the Mornington Peninsula, Sunshine Coast, South Coast of NSW, Fleurieu Peninsula, and Margaret River region, participants walk together to champion mental health. Every step helps fund the Beyond Blue Support Service, providing vital assistance to those in need.
What you will be doing:
- Cheer on trekkers with pom poms and cow bells.
- Hand out snacks, water, and encouragement.
- Distributing bibs, medals, and good vibes
- Assisting with set-up and pack-down
- Being a smiling face and supportive presence

Corrigans Beach, Batehaven Surf Beach Malua Bay Corrigans Reserve, Batehaven
Shifts are just 2 to 5 hours – no full-day commitment needed. Shifts over 4 hours will receive free entry to hike next year as a thank you!
