The Events Coordinator Volunteer will assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of Childhood Cancer Support fundraising events and community activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being organised, working with people and contributing to events that make a meaningful difference for children with cancer and their families. This is a regular part-time volunteer role. Ideally, the volunteer would be available on a consistent weekly basis, with some flexibility required around major events.

Key Responsibilities The volunteer may assist with: · Supporting event planning, preparation and administration · Contacting suppliers, supporters, donors and event participants · Assisting with event registrations, guest lists, seating plans and ticketing · Helping coordinate raffle prizes, auction items and event materials · Preparing event packs, signage, name tags and volunteer resources · Supporting event set-up, pack-down and on-the-day coordination · Assisting with post-event follow-up, thank you emails and basic reporting · Helping maintain accurate records and event information

Skills and Attributes We are looking for someone who is: · Friendly, reliable and professional · Well organised with good attention to detail · Confident communicating by phone, email and in person · Comfortable using basic computer programs such as email, Word and Excel · Able to work both independently and as part of a team · Passionate about supporting families impacted by childhood cancer
