Volunteer Opportunity: Multilingual Translation Support Help make health information accessible to more communities.

We are seeking compassionate and detail-oriented volunteers to assist with translating important templates, brochures, and community resources into multiple languages, including:

  • Simplified Chinese
  • Arabic
  • Vietnamese
  • Punjabi
  • Hindi

This volunteer role will help ensure people from diverse backgrounds can access clear and culturally appropriate information.

About the Role

As a Translation Volunteer, you will help convert English content into your fluent language while maintaining accuracy, tone, and readability. Materials may include:

  • Information brochures
  • Flyers and posters
  • Website content
  • Social media messages
  • Community education resources
  • Basic forms and templates

We’re Looking For People Who:

  • Are fluent in English and at least one target language
  • NAATI qualification
  • health translation experience
  • Have strong written communication skills
  • Understand cultural nuances in translation
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Can meet agreed timelines
  • Previous translation experience is helpful but not essential
