Enjoy crafts and a chat? Bring Friendship to a Senior in Aged Care!

Looking to make a meaningful connection and brighten someone’s day?

We’re seeking a friendly female volunteer to visit an older lady living in an aged care home in Glenroy. She would love a regular visitor to enjoy friendly chats and simple activities together, such as crafts.

The ideal volunteer will feel comfortable interacting with someone who experiences the ups and downs that come with dementia and the ageing process.

Just one hour a week can bring joy and reassurance to someone who needs it most — and it might brighten your day too.

MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.
