Make a real difference in a child’s life
Open your home and provide care, stability and support to a child who needs it most. Whether you can offer a night, a weekend, or longer-term care, every moment matters.
What you’ll do
- Provide a safe, caring and stable home
- Support everyday routines (meals, school, bedtime)
- Offer encouragement, patience and emotional support
- Help a child stay connected to their family, culture and community
- Work alongside a supportive care team
- Choose from flexible placements: overnight, respite, short- or long-term
Who we’re looking for
- Warm, reliable and compassionate individuals or families
- Good communicators who are open to learning
- People from all backgrounds—no formal qualifications needed
- Experience with children is helpful, but not essential
- Reside within our service area (VIC Western and South East suburbs)
Support you’ll receive
- Comprehensive training and a 6-month guided accreditation process
- Ongoing support from a dedicated case worker
- Reimbursements to cover everyday care costs
- Access to a welcoming community of foster carers
