SQUARE E-mail Campaign Advisor

Are you passionate about sustainable food systems and skilled in email marketing/CRM? Organic Buyers Group Hub is looking for a volunteer to help us reconnect with our community and increase participation in our local organic hubs.

About Us Organic Buyers Group Hub is a not-for-profit passionate about making organic fruit & veg accessible to more, by supporting local organic buyers groups across Sydney. We help communities access affordable, ethically sourced organic produce while strengthening local food networks and reducing environmental impact.

We’re seeking a volunteer to help us set up a targeted email marketing campaign using Square. The focus will be on reconnecting with people who have previously trialed a produce box but didn’t continue, as well as members we haven’t seen in some time. The campaign will include tailored messaging and incentives such as discounts or coupons to encourage them to re-engage.

Key Tasks

• Segment our contact lists (past trial participants and inactive members)
• Set-up and guide our first email marketing campaigns in Square
• Develop engaging email content and promotional offers (we have some drafts to review)
• Provide hands-on training and support so we can confidently run future campaigns independently

About You

• Experience with Square marketing tools (highly desirable)
• Background in email marketing/CRM or digital communications
• Interest in organic food, sustainability, or community initiatives
• Comfortable working collaboratively and sharing knowledge
• Reliable

Location & Commitment

• Based in Sydney CBD (in-person sessions required)
• Approximately 10 hours total (2 hours per week over 4 consecutive weeks and a 2 hour followup session to analyse the results)
• Start date: Immediate
