Corporate Volunteering Facilitator

Volunteer Facilitator – Corporate Volunteering Program
Are you an energetic "people person" with a passion for community impact? We are looking for a confident, organized, and engaging Volunteer Facilitator to lead our corporate groups through a high energy afternoon of giving back.
This role will form part of our Friday sessions, ensuring our corporate partners have a meaningful experience while helping us prep essential food for the community, however we have vacancies for all sessions.
The Details
- When: Primarily Friday afternoons (approx. 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM)
- Where: Docklands, Meals with Impact Cafe
- Commitment: Weekly or fortnightly (let’s chat about what works for you!).
What You’ll Be Doing
As the lead facilitator, you aren't just supervising; you’re setting the vibe. Your mission is to keep the energy high and the vegetable prep moving!
- The Welcome: Kick things off with an inspiring introduction speech to explain our mission and the impact of the team’s work (we’ll help you with that!)
- The Hustle: Guide corporate groups through vegetable preparation, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- The Connection: Chat with the team & keep them engaged
- The Oversight: Monitor the workflow, manage time effectively, and jump in to help with packing when the prep is done.
- The Wrap-Up: Lead the pack-down and cleaning process to ensure the space is ready for the next session.
What You Bring to the Table
- Confidence: You’re comfortable speaking in front of groups (ranging from 5 to 20 people).
- Social Energy: You genuinely enjoy meeting new people and can hold a great conversation while multitasking.
- Leadership: You can "read the room" and keep a team motivated, even during repetitive tasks like peeling or chopping.
- Reliability: Fridays are our busiest days; we need someone we can count on to show up with a smile.
Why Join Us?
You’ll be the bridge between corporate Australia and local impact. It’s a fast-paced, social, and incredibly rewarding way to end your week.
