The Study Hub provides a welcoming place for students from refugee, migrant and culturally diverse backgrounds to study, access learning support and stay connected with their education.

Student Ambassadors will help with:

welcoming students and helping them settle into the Study Hub supporting students to access study resources assisting with basic school, TAFE or university tasks where appropriate helping staff manage attendance and daily activities encouraging students to stay focused and engaged creating a respectful, inclusive and supportive learning environment

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with young people and has a patient, friendly and non-judgmental approach. Volunteers do not need to be qualified teachers, but basic computer skills, clear communication and confidence working with students are helpful. Volunteering as a Student Ambassador is a chance to gain experience in youth support, education, community services and administration. Your support will help young people build confidence, stay connected to learning and feel supported in their study journey.
