Mental health triage team members
Hand n Hand is seeking volunteer triage team members to support our growing peer support service.
Hand n Hand provides free, confidential and independent peer support for health professionals, care staff and non-clinical staff across Australia and New Zealand who may be experiencing emotional strain, workplace challenges, burnout or isolation.
About the role Our triage team plays an important role in assessing whether peer support is suitable for each participant before they are linked with a trained volunteer facilitator.
We are particularly seeking volunteers with experience in:
- Psychology
- Psychiatry
- Mental health nursing
- Counselling
- Mental health social work
- Other relevant mental health or healthcare backgrounds
Training and support will be provided.
