Play Scrabble & Chess with a Gentleman in Aged Care

Looking to make a meaningful connection and brighten someone’s day?

We’re seeking a friendly volunteer to visit an older gentleman living an aged care in Donvale. He would appreciate a regular visitor to chat to and play Scrabble and Chess on his iPad. He loves to chat about hiking, cycling and sports.

The ideal volunteer will feel comfortable interacting with someone who experiences the ups and downs that come with disability and the ageing process.

Just one hour a week can bring joy and reassurance to someone who needs it most – and it might brighten your day too.

MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.
