Sydney Heritage Fleet is a volunteer organisation dedicated to preserving, restoring and operating vessels which represent Australia's maritime history. They include Tall Ship James Craig, 1912 K-class ferry Kanangra, coastal steamship John Oxley, 1902 steam tug Waratah, 1902 VIP steam launch Lady Hopetoun, 1903 schooner Boomerang, Tugs and several diesel motor launches.

About the Role We are seeking enthusiastic people to join our team as a Digital Communications Content Coordinator. By joining as a volunteer, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping to promote and preserve maritime heritage while working in a friendly and welcoming team environment.

Role Requirements and Duties You will assist with various adhoc projects and updates for the Fleet's Marketing and Communications. Ongoing and short term projects are available, making the role suitable for students as well.

About you Ideally, you will have experience in some of these areas: • Marketing and Communications • Web CMS - Square, MailChimp, WordPress • Publishing - Canva • Email marketing - Mailchimp • Marketing background • Copyrighting • Channels - Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram • Heritage or Museum experience is a bonus

Location The role is based at Wharf 7, Pyrmont Bay, and may be done remotely and via Zoom once initial training is completed.
