Bus Driver

The volunteer will:
- perform driving tasks to transport (pick up and drop off) clients, and to assist people with low vision or who are blind to get on and off the bus
- ensure vehicles are left in a standard for use by other staff and volunteers
- complete required data recording tasks to accurately record information about your volunteering activities
The volunteer may:
- perform sighted guide techniques to effectively support clients, volunteers or staff to safely navigate their environment
- complete data recording and other administration tasks to accurately record a service with a client (including reporting requirements)

Training for this role includes:
- Volunteer Essentials / Volunteer Essentials (understanding vision conditions)
