We have flexible volunteering opportunities, including visiting more than one person during a morning or afternoon.
We’re inviting kind, genuine volunteers to spend time with an older person in their aged care home. Simply sharing your time, conversation, and companionship can brighten someone’s day and help ease feelings of loneliness. Your presence truly matters
What might your visits include? · Enjoying a friendly chat · Taking a gentle stroll · Sharing stories and memories · Joining in fun activities together, such as music groups or bingo
What’s involved? · National Police Check – cost covered by St John QLD · Visits available in the morning or afternoon · A meet-and-greet and site orientation will be completed before you begin
