The Banyule Nillumbik Local Learning and Employment Network (BNLLEN) is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation established in 2001. BNLLEN fosters local school-community industry partnerships which improve opportunities for young people as they leave school and transition into further education, training and employment. Our work covers the Local Government Areas of Banyule, and Nillumbik, which includes 20 secondary schools.

BNLLEN also delivers the TAC L2P Program for Banyule, Nillumbik and Maroondah. The TAC L2P Program is a learner driver mentor program that helps disadvantaged young people accrue the mandatory 120 hours of supervised driving required to obtain a probationary licence.

The TAC L2P Program Maroondah is funded by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), supported by the Department of Transport and Planning, and delivered by the Banyule Nillumbik Local Learning and Employment Network (BNLLEN) on behalf of Nillumbik Shire Council.

All Volunteer Mentors must undertake a screening and interview process and participate in training prior to becoming a Volunteer Mentor.
