Volunteer - Administration & Retail - Pialba Store

We are looking for volunteers who would like to contribute a few hours per week at our Vinnies Pialba Store in a hybrid Administration and Retail role.
This position involves alternating between administrative data entry tasks and retail duties, depending on operational needs.
Key responsibilities include: Providing the customer with an excellent shopping experience Sorting and pricing donations Assisting with product displays Processing sales through the point of sale cash register Keeping the store and sorting area tidy, whilst maintaining safe work practices. Accurately entering and updating information in our systems Maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail when handling records
The volunteers we are seeking will ideally: • Be detail-oriented and comfortable working with data • Be a people person — welcoming, encouraging and positive • Be flexible and happy to alternate between office-based and warehouse tasks • Be willing to work within the ethos of the St Vincent de Paul Society • Be respectful to others and adaptable in their attitude to work and the team
No prior experience is required, as training and ongoing support will be provided. All volunteers must complete a National Police Check before commencing with Vinnies
