📚 8.30 – 10.00am Quiet Reading & Games Volunteers are located in a quiet and focused session supporting students with reading, simple games and social connection.
What volunteers do:

Listen, encourage and help build confidence with literacy
Play simple board games, card games or puzzles that support turn‑taking, communication and social skills
Offer gentle guidance, patience and positive reinforcement
Help create a calm, supportive space where students feel safe to try, learn and have fun
Why it matters:
These sessions help students strengthen their reading skills, build friendships, and experience positive interactions with trusted adults.
