Social Media & Market Support Volunteer

Are you passionate about sustainability, community, and storytelling through social media? One Planet Market is looking for a Social Media & Market Support Volunteer to help us grow our online presence and support our vibrant community market. Commitment: Approx. 3–6 hours per month (mix of remote and on-site support) One Planet Market is more than just a market - it’s a hub for local, sustainable living. We support local producers, strengthen community connections, and promote resilience and self-reliance.
What You'll Be Doing?
Social Media Management:
- Manage and schedule posts for our Facebook page
- Create engaging content (posts, photos, event promotions)
- Help grow our online community and engagement
- Support our presence on Instagram when needed
Content Creation:
- Capture photos and stories from market days
- Assist with occasional newsletters or promotional material
Market Day Support:
- Help with light setup and pack down
- Assist with general coordination when needed Team Collaboration:
- You’ll be part of a collaborative comms team, sharing ideas and helping bring the market to life both online and in person.
