Hospitality Support Volunteer, Everglades House & Gardens - Leura - #242846

This role involves:

• Providing a warm welcome taking orders, serving food and drinks and assisting visitors with any questions

• Helping with simple food preparation, plating, making tea and coffee and ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene by keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean following food safety regulations and ensuring tables are cleared efficiently

Training

• Induction and familiarisation visit with the property and volunteers

• On-the-job training in basic food handling and hygiene, customer service and retail operations including best practices for interacting with visitors and enhancing their experience

• Training in Safe Work procedures for works at the property

• Ongoing support from fellow volunteers
