Event Support Volunteers – Community Lunches

Multicultural Council of Tasmania

The Multicultural Council of Tasmania is looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to support our community events, including our regular Community Lunches.

Volunteers will help with event set-up, pack-up, and general support during the event. This may include arranging tables and chairs, welcoming community members, helping with food service, keeping the space tidy, and supporting staff where needed.

This is a great opportunity for people who enjoy working with diverse communities and want to contribute to a welcoming multicultural space.

Volunteer tasks may include:

  • Helping set up tables, chairs, and event materials

  • Welcoming and assisting community members

  • Supporting food service and event activities

  • Helping keep the venue clean and organised

  • Assisting with pack-up after the event
