Volunteer Barista – Community Centre Café

This is a great opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills, meet people, and contribute to a vibrant community space. Experience is welcome, but not essential — training can be provided for the right person with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

**About the Role ** As a Volunteer Barista, you’ll help create a warm and welcoming café environment for community members, visitors, and program participants.

Responsibilities Preparing coffee and hot drinks Serving customers with friendly customer service Taking orders and handling basic café transactions Assisting with food preparation and presentation Keeping the café clean, tidy, and well stocked Washing dishes and maintaining hygiene standards Working collaboratively with staff and volunteers What We’re Looking For Friendly and approachable personality Willingness to learn and take direction Reliable and punctual Ability to work in a team environment Basic food handling knowledge (or willingness to learn) Previous café or hospitality experience is helpful but not required
