Young Parents Program Staff / Coordinator

Volunteers may assist staff with • Supporting the setup and pack down of playgroup activities and spaces • Assisting with children’s educational and play-based activities • Encouraging positive interactions between parents and children • Welcoming and engaging with young parents and families in a respectful and supportive manner • Assisting staff during parent-focused group activities, workshops, and community visits • Helping supervise children during activities where appropriate • Supporting staff during outings, excursions, or visits from guest specialists and organisations • Assisting with basic administrative or organisational tasks as required • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment for all participants • Following organisational policies, procedures, and directions from program staff
