Tech-Savvy Volunteer - Memory Maker & Storytelling Companion
We are looking for a warm, creative volunteer to spend time with a client who enjoys bringing memories to life through photos, videos, music, and storytelling.
This rewarding volunteer role involves building a meaningful connection while helping the client create and enjoy personal memory projects using photographs, video clips, favourite songs, and life stories.
About the Role
As a Volunteer Visitor, you will:
- Spend regular one-on-one time with the client
- Assist with organising photos and video memories
- Help create simple digital slideshows or memory presentations
- Listen to and record stories and personal experiences
- Explore music that is meaningful to the client and incorporate it into projects
- Encourage creativity, conversation, and social connection
About the Client

- Sharing life experiences and personal history
- Creative and meaningful social interaction
- We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is patient, friendly, and a good listener
- Enjoys storytelling, music, or creative projects
- Has basic computer, phone, or tablet skills
- Is comfortable using simple photo/video apps (or willing to learn)
- Values companionship and respectful communication
Time Commitment
Flexible hours Regular visits preferred (e.g. weekly or fortnightly) Visits arranged to suit both volunteer and client availability
