Give back to the community by supporting our op shop as a Social Media Coordinator

Nestled in the heart of Ferntree Gully Village, Hills Church Op Shop has been a pillar of support for our local community for many years. We believe in the transformative power of generosity and connection, and offer a welcoming space where neighbours can gather over a cup of tea, engage in heartfelt conversations, and forge new friendships.

Beyond the racks of pre-loved treasures, we also proudly extend our reach into the community through offering free winter care packs and hygiene essentials to those in need. We passionately believe that all individuals deserve dignity, respect, and a place where they can belong. Our Op Shop is committed to restoring hope, providing tangible support, and igniting a sense of belonging and connection within our local community.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to help create online content for the Hills Church Op Shop for promotion on Facebook and Instagram. This role includes:

• creating content
• scheduling posts
• promoting and projecting the activities of the Hills Church Op Shop

These posts will reflect how we connect and support the Ferntree Gully community as well as promote the op shop, the products we sell and the programs we offer. We also offer a Ferntree Gully Village Community Pantry and we intend for these posts to reflect and represent the positive reputation we have as a shop and church in our community.
