About BioPaws Detection 🐾

BioPaws Detection is a registered charity where science, compassion, and canine intelligence come together to create a meaningful impact on human health.

Our Mission: We train and deploy high-quality medical detection dogs to accurately identify specific medical conditions. By working collaboratively with researchers, government, community, and industry, we aim to improve early diagnostics and make non-invasive testing more accessible. Through research, advocacy, and outreach, we also strive to spread awareness of chronic illnesses, complex health conditions, and the incredible potential of scent-based medical detection.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management: Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across our social platforms to highlight our dogs, research updates, and advocacy campaigns.

Website Curation: Keep our website updated with the latest news, research milestones, and ways for the public to get involved or donate.

Community Engagement: Monitor our channels, interact with our followers, and foster a warm, supportive online environment.

Digital Strategy: Collaborate with our board and volunteers to brainstorm digital campaigns that drive awareness and support our fundraising goals.

Position Requirements

Experience: Proven background in managing social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and creating compelling digital content.

Tech Skills: Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).

Communication: Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to translate scientific or medical concepts into accessible, engaging posts.

Passion: A genuine interest in animal welfare, scientific research, and advocating for those with complex health conditions.

Self-Driven: Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively in a remote setting, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
