At Ageing with Grace, we believe regular connection and conversation can make a real difference.

We're looking for a friendly volunteer to spend time with Monica, an older lady living in residential aged care in Garran. Monica was a professional violinist and has a lifelong love of music. We are hoping to find a volunteer who can build a genuine connection with her through a shared enjoyment of music and conversation.

This is a simple but meaningful role — spending time together, sharing stories, enjoying conversation, and building a genuine connection. Regular visits can help reduce loneliness and bring companionship and enjoyment to someone's week.

No experience is needed. However, someone who enjoys music, particularly classical or orchestral music, may find they have a great deal in common with Monica.
