Are you looking for a meaningful way to spend your time? All Aged Care – Community Aged Care is seeking friendly and caring volunteers to assist with activities, outings, and day trips for seniors.
Many older people in our community experience social isolation, and with your help, we can make a real difference in their lives. If you have a little spare time, why not get involved, meet new people, and help bring smiles, companionship, and laughter to our seniors?
We are currently looking for volunteers in Brisbane South - Wynnum, Capalaba, Wellington Point, Victoria Point.
What you'll do:
• Join in or help run fun activities and social events
• Work closely with our Respite Coordinator while accompanying and supporting seniors throughout the day
• Accompany seniors on outings and day trips
• Provide companionship and friendly conversation What we're looking for:
• Warm, reliable, and compassionate people
• A few hours of your time each week (flexible schedule)
• No experience required – just a kind heart, a willingness to help, and a genuine enjoyment of spending time with seniors
• A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle would be highly appreciated, as some clients require transport to activities and appointments. Providing transport is optional. Fuel costs are reimbursed, lunch is provided.
