Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community?
All Aged Care – Community Aged Care is seeking caring and reliable Volunteer Bus Drivers to help transport seniors to respite meetings, social activities, outings, and day trips.
Many older people in our community experience social isolation, and your support can help them stay connected, active, and engaged.
We are currently looking for volunteers in North Brisbane.
What you'll do:
• Drive our clients safely to and from respite meetings, social activities, and community outings
• Assist clients when boarding and exiting the vehicle if required
• Accompany seniors on day trips and community excursions
• Provide friendly conversation and support throughout the day
• Work closely with our Respite Coordinator and activity team
What we're looking for:
• A warm, reliable, and compassionate person
• A current Australian driver's licence and a safe driving record
• Confidence driving a small bus (minivan – 10 seater)
• A few hours of your time week (flexible schedule)
• A genuine enjoyment of spending time with seniors and helping others
Location:
Our buses are based in North Brisbane, so volunteers living in or near the North Brisbane area are particularly encouraged to apply for convenience and easy access to our vehicles.
