This year’s SA Living Artists (SALA) Festival exhibition for Southern Cross Care will be a public three day event at the Torrens Parade Ground Drill Hall. The exhibition, titled Together at the Torrens, includes over 4,500 colourful butterflies created by our residents and clients, set in a relaxed garden with a casual cafe space for refreshments and connections. From 4-6 August, 10am-4pm we are looking for event volunteers to assist with showing residents and visitors through the exhibition, serving in the cafe, and sharing the impact of the SALA program. We are also looking for volunteers to help with the installation of the exhibition on 3 August and the pack up on 7 August, all during business hours. Talk to us about the hours you want to volunteer - we will form a roster that suits you. Free parking will be available onsite and we will provide all the information and support needed to do your role.
