Many of our stores operate 7 days a week, and even as little as 4 hours per week can make a meaningful impact.

We are seeking a reliable and organised volunteer to assist with a combination of administration and donation sorting tasks, supporting both our retail operations and busy office team.

In this role, volunteers may assist with tasks such as:

• Sorting and categorising donated goods • Organising stock and supporting storeroom operations • Data entry and maintaining accurate records • General administrative duties and office support • Answering and making phone calls • Assisting with customer and volunteer enquiries • Maintaining organised filing systems and documentation

The volunteers we are seeking will ideally:

• Have experience in administration, data entry, customer service or office support • Be comfortable using computers and entering data accurately • Have strong attention to detail and respect for confidentiality • Be reliable, organised and able to work independently • Enjoy working as part of a friendly team • Be willing to work within the ethos and values of the St Vincent de Paul Society QLD This position would suit a retired person looking to stay active and connected to the community, someone returning to the workforce, or anyone wishing to gain valuable administration and retail support experience.
