Aged Care Volunteer Visitor- Carseldine

We are currently in need of visitors within or near the Carseldine area. We are recruiting visitors to spend one on one time with a resident who will benefit greatly from having a visitor. These visits increase the resident's sense of community, self-worth and brighten their day. It helps prevent feelings of anxiety and loneliness. You can make a huge difference in the life of a resident.

It takes as little as 2 hours a month to make a difference and is easy as having a cup of tea and a chat, a stroll around the centre with your resident, to sit outside and watch the birds or play a game. Just being there and spending time with them makes a significant difference to their wellbeing.
