South West Community Legal Centre (SWCLC) is seeking dedicated and values-driven individuals to join our Board of Directors as volunteer members. ABOUT US SWCLC is a not-for-profit organisation providing free legal services, advocacy, and support to vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the South West of Western Australia. We are committed to promoting access to justice and empowering our community. THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled individuals to contribute to the strategic direction, governance, and sustainability of our organisation. As a Board Member, you will: • Provide governance and strategic oversight • Contribute to decision-making and organisational direction • Support financial sustainability and risk management • Act as a champion for access to justice in the South West community WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR We welcome expressions of interest from people with diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. Skills and experience in the following areas are highly valued: • Legal or justice sector experience • Finance, accounting, or auditing • Corporate governance or board experience • Human resources or organisational development • Community services or not-for-profit sector • Marketing, communications, or fundraising • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives We strongly encourage applications from individuals who reflect the diversity of the community we serve.
