About the campaign

With the live sheep export ban taking effect on 1 May 2028, Stop Live Exports is fighting to make sure animals are protected in the meantime. Our Make It Law: Heat Policy campaign calls on the government to enforce binding heat-stress protections — because no animal should suffer in extreme temperatures during transport. Right now we're running a WA petition and fundraiser, and we need your help getting the message into letterboxes across the metro area.

What's involved

You'll be delivering printed flyers (featuring our WA petition and fundraiser QR code) to homes in your local area. Walk a route that suits you, in your own time, at your own pace.

  • Where: Fremantle, Perth CBD and surrounding suburbs
  • When: Flexible - choose times and routes that suit you
  • Commitment: As little or as much as you can give
  • What you'll need: Comfortable shoes and a bit of spare time - we'll supply the flyers

Who we're looking for

  • Animal lovers and community-minded locals
  • People who enjoy being active and outdoors
  • Anyone who wants to help create change, no experience required
  • Friends, families and groups welcome to volunteer together

Ready to help?
