Kitchen Assistant

Provide safe and nutritional meals and refreshments to members participating in one of Myrtle Cottage programs. To ensure that all members are treated fairly with respect and included in their own decision-making process relating to meals and dietary requirements. • Assist to prepare morning teas and lunches for members, volunteers and special guests. • Assist to modify meals as required under the direction of the Kitchen Supervisor. • Set up trolleys for Morning Tea and Lunch trolleys to deliver meals to members. • Operate dish washer and dry and put away equipment once cleaned. • Assist with cooking as directed by the Kitchen Supervisor.
