Friends of Burleigh Knoll Conservation Park is seeking a motivated and creative Volunteer Social Media Coordinator that will support our mission of connecting the community with efforts to restore and protect native habitats. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to local conservation efforts by managing and enhancing our social media presence.

Position Overview:

As Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and creating content across our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Your efforts will help raise community awareness, promote events, and inspire action in support of conservation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, schedule, and post content tailored to the Friends of Burleigh Knoll social media

Promote community events and initiatives to increase engagement and participation

Design visually appealing graphics and posts (basic design skills preferred)

Maintain a consistent posting schedule to keep followers informed and motivated

No formal experience required; enthusiasm and commitment are essential

Commitment:

Attend monthly event for 2-3 hours

Work from home for 4-5 hours monthly
