Are you compassionate, patient, and looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity?

We are seeking caring volunteers to visit older people living in an aged care facility who are experiencing dementia. Through regular friendship and companionship visits, you can help reduce social isolation and bring joy, connection, and comfort to someone's day.

About the Role As a Volunteer Visitor, you will: -Spend quality one-on-one time with a resident. -Engage in friendly conversation and companionship. -Share activities such as looking through photo albums, listening to music, reading, puzzles, crafts, or simply enjoying a chat. -Provide a regular, reliable social connection through weekly or fortnightly visits.

What We're Looking For We welcome volunteers who are: -Friendly, caring, and respectful. -Good listeners with a patient and understanding nature. -Reliable and committed to regular visits. -Interested in supporting older people and enhancing their wellbeing. -Comfortable interacting with people living with dementia (support will be provided).
