The program the successful volunteer will follow is the Towards Respectful Relationships program as outlined on the Rotary SAFE Families website. It is an opportunity for Year 10 students to understand a respectful relationship and what family violence looks like and how they can prevent it. 4. The school works alongside the RSF facilitator, a Rotary Club volunteer, the school's welfare teacher, a Victoria Police officer, and the film producer to support students through each weekly stage of the teaching resource. 5. Students are grouped in teams of 3–5 depending on class size. 6. Each group completes the 8-week program, producing their own original short film. 7. Films are judged by fellow students and an external panel of professionals. 8. The program concludes with an event at the school to screen films, celebrate students and present prizes.
